Life

You must know evil to do good.

Wouldn’t give a damn if I looked in the mirror and saw a different man.

There is something special about rotations of 137.5 degrees.

This is an attempt at replicating Seeds by Jared Tarbell of Levitated and Complexification.

Mathematica code:

RotationTransform[n*2.4][{x*c^n, y}], r*c^n],

Disk[
RotationTransform[k*2 Pi/F, RotationTransform[n*2.4][{x*c^n, y}]]
[RotationTransform[n*2.4][{x*c^n, y}] + c^n {r - s, 0}], s*c^n]},

Completed my first ever preliminary banners and watermarks as a freelancer today.  I did a total of 7 banners and 5 watermarks to be critiqued by Mercure Photography in Boston.  The two designs below are my personal favorites.

Classy serif font with distinguishing spurs, swash’s, and tail’s. Overall, a clean look that has a classy and elegant style.

Upside down catfish (Synodontis nigriventris)
This species of catfish swims is popular in the aquarium trade for its habit of swimming upside down. It has developed adaptations for this behavior- their bellies are dark while their backs are light, which acts as counter-shading. That means that predators looking up at the catfish will “see” it as part of the light surface and predators looking down will see the catfish as part of the dark river bottom.
It is thought that swimming upside down makes it easier to feed on algae growing on the undersides of submerged logs and branches.
